A comprehensive educational guide to “Building Decarbonization” modules and workshop series for SCOPE LA attendees and interested residents, making decarbonization educational and accessible.
SCOPE LA is a nonprofit building grassroots power to create social and economic justice for low-income, female, immigrant, black, and brown communities in Los Angeles. They were developing educational materials for their Building Decarbonization campaign, making decarbonization easy to understand for all community members.
We created infographics and a booklet (print and digital) of a comprehensive educational guide, in both English and Spanish, to “Building Decarbonization” modules and workshop series for attendees and interested South LA residents.
Goals for these illustrations include visually demonstrating renter's rights, holistic home improvements and electrification, climate justice, and green jobs.
Snippets from chapters of the guide, covering topics from renter's rights, holistic home improvements and electrification, climate justice, and green jobs.
Karen Romero Estrada, Climate Justice Associate
The educational materials were distributed to SCOPE LA's attendees and South LA residents during their Earth Day events and on-going workshops.
