We created a series of illustrations that are fun and engaging for the Junior Rangers participating virtually and in-person at California State Park interpretive center locations.
We worked with California State Park's Interpretation & Education Division to create a series of illustrations that the State Parks can use for multiple purposes, including digital (presentation decks, online), interactive (IR Triggers to launch activities in their mobile game), on location at interpretive centers, and print. The illustrations are versatile, has a consistent look and feel, and are colorful and fun for Junior Rangers to interact with!
The state symbols include California Quail, Grizzly Bear, Redwood, Dogface Butterfly, Desert Tortoise (our personal favorite), California Poppy, Gray Whale, Sabertooth Cat, and Golden Trout.
These illustrations are being implemented throughout various California state park interpretive centers for their educational activities, primarily for kids ages 6-12 and families. To learn more about visiting a California State Park and their programs, visit parks.ca.gov
