Heroes of Color:
Creative and STEAM Enrichment Programs

Short film documenting Heroes of Color's Junior ARTrepreneurs program.

Purpose

We worked with Heroes of Color on producing a short film documenting the Junior ARTrepreneurs program, an innovative curriculum that turns young artists into entrepreneurs by teaching them the business of art, in partnership with the Hart School District in Santa Clarita.

This film showcased the students' growth and increase of confidence over the 8-week program, and captured the immense talent, creativity, and tenacity these students exemplified through their artwork.

Heroes of Color is an award winning education company offering innovative and impactful enrichment programs that use art to promote advocacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness with a focus on social-emotional learning. Learn more at heroesofcolor.com.

Impact

This film was launched at the end of the 8-week arts program at the William S. Hart Union High School District’s Student Art Exhibition at the Centre in Canyon Country, California. Students, parents, family & friends, and the Santa Clarita school districts have gathered at the exhibit, witnessing the success of this program through the students' growth stories, and the instructors' and school principals' testimonials.

This film documented this valuable program and showcased the importance of art as a medium to unite people, regardless of age, ethnicity, and socio-economic backgrounds. The program was also featured on Good Day LA, Spectrum News, and The Signal. Learn more about Heroes of Color's enrichment programs at heroesofcolor.com.
